Plot Summary

Lahore Track

Bali has signed up Sandal for three movies. Celebrations are in full swing.

Nageena wants to wear Feroza’s jewellery. Little does she know that everything is sold. However, Sitara has arranged for two gold bangles. She knows her daughter well, I must say.

Malik Behzad, the producer looks at Gaiti with so much list, argh! Tharki boodha. I fear that this track is going to similar to very disturbing subplot from the book.

He offers to launch Gaiti. Neither Bali nor Sitara like this.

Almas visits Sandal. Both sisters are savage as they throw witty lines at her. It is revenge time, for them.

Karachi Track

Izhar and Shakera are still hung up on Islam’s visit.

Zartaj meets Yousuf seeking help to “fix” Salaar. Yousuf does meet him, but for persuading him to stay and take everything in his control. Bhai ho to aisa!

Bro has changed since coming to Karachi. Look at him wearing fitted t-shirt and jeans.

Ma’az arrives at Izhar’s house. He confronts Izhar about insulting Islam.

Khayyam runs into Sajid who’s selling drugs and other stuff. He takes Khayyam to meet Ma’az. He is a puppet and tells everything to Khayyam.

Review

I don’t think I have noted this before, but Yousuf Kamal is so freaking good. He appears for very few scenes and has short screen time, but he leaves an impact. Very good actor!

Saleem Mairaj is terrific and terrifying.

That’s my take on this episode. How did you like this one? Please leave a comment.

Don’t forget to read my other Saturday reviews of Alif episode 10 & Mere Paas Tum Ho episode 17.

Until next review, remember in your prayers and stay blessed!
