Afreen Afreen was naturally the next pick. No, it wasn’t me. It was YouTube’s algorithm that showed me the related videos.

Oh, alright! Another song by Momina Mustehsan, I thought. Besides, who doesn’t love the Afreen song by the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan?

I like the recreation of the song and how the female portion is weaved into the original. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan pays tribute to his uncle and does a flawless job as usual.

I have watched this song many a times, but there is one thing that bothers me. The alaap towards the end becomes a bit of stretch and it bothers me, like BOTHERS me.

But, that could just be me.
