Introduction
Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.
Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 42 Written Update and Review
Assalam Alaikum dear readers,
I know this post isn’t in the usual format, but I’m really tired and don’t want to work on my laptop, so here goes the recap and review of the latest episode of Tere Bin (Tere Bin Episode 42). Oh, and since we haven’t done a pics-only recap in a while, let’s do that.
~
First, we see Meerub guilty and worried, so she’s praying that things are alright. Haya, Salma Begum and Anwar, they all ask Meerub to leave because of what she has done. Haya even tries to drag Meerub out of the house, but Meerub was like:
“Murtasim ne mujhe qasam di thhi ki Maryam ke wapas aane tak yahin rahun. Main uski baat nahin taal sakti.”
And I was like: behen, Murtasim ne mana kiya thha aisa kuch karne se jis se us ka dil toot jaye. Why did you still did such a blunder? Why were you so hell-bent on helping Maryam run away? Forget about Haya who is a poisonous snake. Who needs an enemy when Meerub is the well-wisher?
~
Now that Murtasim knows Meerub had helped Maryam run away, he is willing to accept Malik Zubair ‘s conditions just to rescue his sister.
Murtasim arrives at the farm house with a file, but he’s first stopped and frisked to check for weapons. He then does a slow-mo walk as he did in the first episode, opening scene, only better this time. Kya chal hai, ufff!
When Malik Zubair asks him to drop the case against him
When Malik Zubair tells him to give the land papers.
When Malik Zubair repeatedly reminds that Maryam is with him.
We see so many shades of Murtasim.
And then finally he rescues Maryam. He frsgs his sister the way he did when he finally found Meerub in Malik Zubair’s adda, was it episode 17?
And then Maryam is home. This is the face of a brother who has just rescued his sister from a devil.
Murtasim Khan has had enough. As my younger sister jokingly says: his patience has given answer (us ka sabr jawab de gaya hai).
And Meerub fears the worse is about to happen. This is her when Murtasim asks her to leave.
And the episode ends as Murtasim brings Meerub to her “home”. Now live here and guiltily ever after.
