Chand Tara Episode 16 Written Update & Review

Assalam Alaikum!

Shabana Mukhtar here, back with another recap and review of “Chand Tara.” Let’s jump right into it, shall we?

So, the newlyweds are facing yet another hurdle in their marriage. Saarim wants to take his wife out for a romantic dinner, but Tara has already invited the whole family over for dinner. Ah, the same old “I want to enjoy family moments” argument. I swear, this drama is giving me some serious relationship anxiety.

And can we talk about Tara for a minute? Don’t get me wrong, she’s a lovely person, but she’s trying a bit too hard to be the perfect wife. I mean, inviting the entire family over for dinner on the same night that her husband wanted to take her out? That’s just not fair. Poor Saarim was more upset than a kid who lost his candy.

But let’s be real, it’s not all Tara’s fault. She’s just trying to please everyone because she’s so used to being alone. I get it, but girl, you gotta learn to prioritize your own relationship too. I understand that Tara has lived all her life alone, but that doesn’t mean she keeps a crowd around her. I find it hard to believe.

Okay, so in last episode Tara pretended to burn her hand. Now, Saarim pretends to have an injured foot. Itna kya pretense? Be real!

Oh, and this episode also showed another speech by Tara: We should celebrate our losses.

Hau baji, sahi kaha aap ne.

Dr Raziya and Mir Jafar have their own story going on. Mir Jafar needs bypass. The worried look on Dr Raziya’s face spoke volumes. She cares for her husband. Isn’t that sweet?

Review

I have already ranted enough, so I would say good things about this drama today. The real life couple Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor have great chemistry, and even though the makers take a wee bit liberty in showing romance beyond the “sanitized” limits. But phir bhi maza nahin aa raha.

All in all, this episode was just more of the same family drama we’ve come to expect from “Chand Tara.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m still watching it because I’m a completionist, but it’s not exactly groundbreaking television.

So, should you watch this episode? If you’re in the mood for some classic family drama and don’t mind some frustrating relationship conflicts, then go for it. But if you’re looking for something more exciting, you might want to give this one a pass.

That’s my take on the latest episode of Chand Tara. How do others feel about this episode?
