The week that was: #10

Hello again and welcome to my world!

How have you been?

This is time for a recap of my week. and what an expensive week it was. If you want to more about my stingy behavior, read this.

My Office:

First off, it is Friday and its dessert day.

That’s a chocolate cake with a make-do chopsticks. It is yummy. But that is redundant. You know that already. Just look at the picture.

We had a team building activity today. I had to share a table with, laugh with and do some tasks with people I don’t want to share a table with, laugh with and do some tasks with. Imagine my plight. No, you can’t.

The only saving grace was that my team won the game.

And I am still at office as I have to attend a conference call – a call I don’t want to attend from home. That means that I need to spend 2.5 extra hours in office.

Needless to say, that I am not happy about it. It means that I have 2.5 hours less to do my favourite activities – lazing around, reading, and writing. Oh, writing!

My Writing:

A few more drafts getting polished. Sometimes I feel torn between the need to tell the story and telling an epic story. I prefer reading and writing short stories. But, I am working on a novel now and it is tiring.

My Reading:

I am reading Becoming by Michelle Obama. A couple of other short stories and short books on Kindle. I don’t have time to write a review for those, yet. Hopefully, Saturday I will work on those. I know what reviews mean to a writer.

P.S. I want to take a moment and thank every visitor on my blog. Your time is appreciated 🙂
