Overcoming Self Doubt

After publishing the post, I kept pondering.

After a couple of hours of sulking, I realized that maybe I am not as good as I had hoped. However, I will not get better unless I keep on trying, would I? If I quit, my dreams will forever be buried in my heart.

I reopened the word document that i had abandoned, and typed away furiously. After a few hours of work, the story now stands at a hundred pages and roughly 20K words. And I was thinking of quitting. Poh!

The draft is still far from complete, but I have a feeling it will be good. I am hoping to share the excerpts here, for there are a lot of amazing writers and I could benefit from their expert review.

And with that, I begin the June Reading & Writing Spree.
