First and foremost, Eid Mubarak!
It is the Eid special finale episode that we all have been waiting for. I know I was, cuz some episodes felt dragged.
True to our expectation, the last episode is going to be a celebratory one. Maina and Meetho are engaged and their Nikaah date is fixed after three days.
Meetho’s advice to Arsal was simple yet touchy. “Mohabbat ko aazmate nahin hain. Kya pata agla banda kisi majboori mein hai.”
Shahana brainwashes Jia, summarizing the essence of the entire season – that men don’t bend, they break; that men need to be tackled with care and tactic; that one can catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.
It is all sugar then. Everybody, I mean the complete cast gets together for nikaah, alongside Maina’s six brothers. The entry is usual, paired appropriately the family dances to the music.
The entire cast, then, is assembled when DJ reads Arsal’s love-slash-confession letter to Jia.
The Yasir and Huma angle is introduced in this episode. I am guessing it is a hint on further sequel, like the Baraat series (Azar ki Ayegi Baraat, Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat, Takay ki Ayegi Baraat, Ainie ki Ayegi Baraat).
It is well past midnight and I am posting from my mobile. Once I get to my laptop, I will post a season review, things I didn’t like, things I loved in this season and what I look forward to.
Until then, Allah Hafiz. Eid Mubarak once again!
