Plot Summary

The episode opens as Danish and Mateen are having meal outside in a restaurant. Danish tells him that Rumi is now in a boarding school.

Danish wants to start a business, and asks Mateen if he could arrange 20-22 core rupees. He is obviously disturbed.

Shameem Hilali makes an appearance as Rumi’s principal. She tells him about Rumi’s report. Rumi doesn’t interact or participate in any academic or extracurricular activities.

The class teacher miss Haniya, the lovely Hira Salman. Haniya explain, in detail, about Rumi’s behaviour.

Danish says innocently, “I think I was wrong.” He was so CUTE!

He does tell them about the reasons behind Rumi’s behaviour, though. Thank goodness. I hate it when people hide things for no reason.

Danish talks to Rumi, about everything that the teachers told him and how he responded to them. Their interaction is heartwarming.

Rumi is not your weakness. He is your strength,” Rumi says.

Danish gets promoted to grade 17. But, he is determined to start a business and become rich and is selling his flat. He will obviously leave the job. This doesn’t go well with Mateen and he suggests that he should continue his job until his business settles down.

I agree with him. But his suggestion that Danish should get married, because it will hurt her. Mateen Sahab breaks down as as he tells his own story. Awnnn! Superb acting by Mohammad Ahmed. He looks like a broken man. I am glad that his role is fleshed out and he’s not just a hero’s friend.

And, he walks out sits in his car and he gets a massive heart attack.

Danish calls Mateen’s daughter and guess who’s his daughter. Haniya arrives just as Mateen Sahab lose his battle of life.

We meet Shahwar and Mehwish, but Shahwar doesn’t want to marry her. Burn! They look good, though, don’t they?

Review

It isn’t difficult to assume that there is a possiblity of Danish and Haniya… But I want to take a moment to talk about the little kid. Rumi is so good in the few scenes he appears in. When he’s sitting on that bench, his shoulders are slumped as he listens to Danish’s scolding.
