Disclaimer: This review is an opinion of a music listener. I have no musical background or technical expertise. If anybody disagrees with anything in this post… well, they will have to live with it. I can’t help them 🙂

First and foremost, I apologize for late review. I was out of town and had no internet on Friday and Saturday. Can you imagine living without internet in this age? Phew!

Balaghal Ula Be Kamalihi, Abida Parveen

The legend Abida Parveen with soul-touching lyrics.

Rating: 4.5/5 stars.

Jind Mahiya, Shuja Haider

A solo by Shuja, wow. He is one of my favourites in all Coke Studio seasons. I feel that his voice has been naturally auto-tuned. This was the first time I heard a composition which was peppy. Generally his music is very melodious and lyrics are soft and touching ballads. This one was peppy and fun.

Rating: 3.5/5 stars.

Ya Qurban, Khumariyaan

Rating: 3/5 stars.

Other observations:

  • Shuja rocked it.
