2019 As a Reviewer

I went berserk as a reviewer. There were books that I read and then we’re dramas, telefilms, web series and everything else under the sun. I reviewed, a LOT.

I read ~180 books and posted reviews on Goodreads. There are some reviews that I posted on TOMU. Others, I didn’t.

Alif By Umera Ahmed and Haalim By Nemrah Ahmed were two books that I had expectations from. Both books finished this year and Alif has become quite a phenomenon as it was also adapted as a drama. It is currently airing on HAR PAL GEO and 13 episodes are live.

There are two books that stood out, even though I had not any expectations.

“Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes

Book Review: Big Little Lies (by Liane Moriarty)

There were some nice finds and some disappointing ones. I guess it was expected, given that I watched so many.

Ranjha Ranjha Kardi although not entirely based on the novel was most impacting.

On the other hand, Suno Chanda Season 2  was a big disappointment. I had a good premise. and started off well, but dragged in the end.
