Yep, I am back with one of these. The last post on this was probably Bol Kaffara.

So, I was on YouTube, minding my business, watching Zanjeerain episode 13. And the next recommended video had Asim Azhar on it, and the title Tu Hai Wahi. Kishore Kumar’s soothing voice instantly rang in my head, but I was committed to finishing the episode. I had waited a week for this mind-blowing episode, right?

But, as soon as I finished the episode, I did watch the video. I’ve followed Asim Azhar since his Justin Bieber days: Hands in the Air was part of my #CodingPlaylist.

This song is good, a mix of Urdu, English and Punjabi. I especially loved that the first time we hear “Tu Hai Wahi” is OG Kishore Kumar’s voice.

I listened to the song twice, and then searched for original, obviously.

What a song! Both original and this one. Asim has gained a ton of weight, by the way.
