Can I or is that too much to ask?

With trembling fingers and thumping heart I write this post.

I have said what I had to say. I have been working on it for far too long.
Am I happy with what I have written? No, and I will never be. If I didn’t have the deadline set, I would have kept working on it forever.
The emotions, the experiences and opinions are expressed in context of software industry and it revolves around the lives of Muslim, women, software engineers.
Can it be generalized to non-Muslim, non female software engineers? Yes.
Does same workplace politics apply on other professions? Yes.
Does everyone have the journey? No.

These four girls come from the middle-class family background. with a dream to make it big; in terms of money and a good reputation at their job. They did not know that things work differently in the corporate world. Unlike college, a mere talent does not suffice. Despite what they are taught, hard work is a quality that is looked down upon. And dedication has no value. How do they survive the pressure of staying atop of the fierce competition?
