Badshah Begum Episode 26 Written Update and Review
Plot Summary
So, let’s quickly recap a few key events.
- Roshan Ara is upset that she is tricked by her family yet another time. She isn’t getting hitched with Bakhtiyar. Instead, her family tells her that her dulha is Qaisar. Of course, this is only to fool others. The real trouble is when Qaisar arrives at the haveli.
- Shahzeb comes to the haveli to denounce the “gaddi-nasheeni”. He is doing that to save his little stepsister Roshan Ara from Qaisar. This act of bravado would be written in history in golden ink. Hehe. But do keep this in mind. Aage exam main aayega.
- Hakim Bi is against everything that Shah Alam and his kids, Shahzeb included, are doing.
- Shahmir is worried about Qaisar’s reaction to this “dhoka”. But he shouldn’t sweat about these petty issues, kyunki baRa bhai hai na.
- Another Qaisar and Shahzeb face-off, again.
- This time, Qaisar challenges Shahzeb to a man-to-man, hand-to-hand combat.
- Shahzeb agrees. Shahmir follows these two dudes for the duel.
- Back home, Bakhtiyar, Jahan Aara and Roshan Aara are alone to deal with Qaisar’s men who attack haveli.
- It’s time to recall all the shooting lessons that Shah Alam gave to Jahan Ara. She isn’t worried about the attackers. Instead, she takes them down, one by one. slo-mo.
- Shahzeb beats Qaisar.
- Shahmir is impressed by this. Shahzeb asks Shahmir to tie a thread around his wrist (I wonder why that was), and the two men hug each other.
- Zulekha is happy that her husband has done the right thing, so she… ahem… you know what I mean. This is the true reward for Shahzeb’s bravado.
Let’s pause here for a moment and let that all sink in. It is too much to handle, don’t you think?
This is just half the episode.
Moving on…
- Qaisar comes home to find Hakim Bi. Their alliance is stronger now. But they still hate each other, one can tell.
- It’s all-out war now. Hakim Bi is taking every step to win her power back. Shah Alam and co. is also ready to fight this battle.
- Oh, Zulekha and Shahzeb are expecting. Real real prize 😀
Review
In last episode, or the one before that, Murad had said:
“Haveli ab circus ban gayi hai. Roz ek naya tamasha hota hai”

There is a night-and-day spectacle before me
I couldn’t agree with Murad more. Badshah Begum has become a circus. Kuch bhii ho raha hai.
In this episode, so much happened that my head started to spin. The most awkward moment was when Hakim Bi appoints herself as Badshah Begum, and Pir Qaisar as the self-appointed Pir. Seriously, kuch bhi ho raha hai. If it was that easy to announce Badshah Begum and Pir, why all the fuss for the past 25 episodes?

It’s not that I don’t have any praises for Badshah Begum Episode 26. First and foremost, let’s praise how beautifully it was shot. The four moments I really liked were:
- Shahzeb-Qaisar face-off, you have seent he pictures already.
- Shahzeb-Qaisar duel, high drama and great camera work
- Jahan Ara with the rifle, ossam.
- The “school setup” montage
