Fairy Tale Episode 7 Written Update & Review

Zeenat misses Ummeed (now that Ummeed has won 2 crore rupees). She wows to go to Zulekha’s house and bring Ummeed back. But Sameer has already been to Zulekha’s house and… guess what… Ummeed isn’t here.

Then comes the scene we have all been waiting for. In a funny sequence, Ummeed and Farjad come face to face. It wasn’t like haha-funny, but it was nice. Ummeed loses her mind and falls unconcious upon learning that Farjad is Mimi’s brother. On the other hand, Farjad loses his temper when he learns that Ummeed is living in his house. Let the drama begin.

~

Farjad gets a flu because he falls in the pool, and Ummeed meets the mum. Mum is already in love with Ummeed and sees her as her future daughter-in-law. Ummeed lies through her teeth about her background, lies that would come back and bite her, mark my words.

~

Talal Pasha comes to meet Ummeed at Mimi’s house. Mum refuses to let Ummeed go. Long story short, now Ummeed will live at Farjad’s house. Will Farjad agree to his mum’s whims? We will see.

Review

In this episode, we saw Ummeed’s world collide with Farjad’s, and it was quite the clash. The chemistry between the two actors was undeniable, and their scenes were some of the highlights of the episode.

I have to admit, though, that the whole fainting thing was a bit much. I mean, I get it, it was supposed to be a dramatic moment, but it just seemed a little too over-the-top. And Farjad’s outburst when he found out that Ummeed was living in his house was a bit predictable.

I don’t understand Ummeed’s need to lie. Does she have a condition? Itna jhoot bolne ki kya zaroorat hai.

Hamza Sohail’s comic timing and expressions make this drama worth watching. In Ummeed’s house, apart from Salma Hassan and Adnan, everyone else seems to be out of element and bit over the top. Mimi and Farjad are the only “normal” ones, in my not-so-humble opinion.

That sounds like a rant, but I’m still enjoying this drama. It’s light-hearted, funny, and has a great cast of characters. I’m curious to see where the story goes from here, especially now that Ummeed is on a mission to bring her friend back home. Will she succeed? I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.

So, if you’re looking for a fun, easy-to-watch drama, Fairy Tale might just be the one for you. And who knows, you might even find yourself falling in love with Hamza Sohail’s charming and hilarious character, Farjad. I know I have.

How did you guys find this episode?
