Tere Aany Se Episode 3 Written Update & Review

So, Rania’s grandfather, Anwar Miyan Ji has agreed to send Rania to Lahore for studies. She would be staying in Maheer’s house. Why’s that? Because Rania’s grandfather and Maheer’s grandmother are related.

Maheer’s friend’s car breaks down, so he has to take a bus. Rania is on the same bus. Now, let the fun begin.

The bus ride

Rania and Maheer get into the same bus. It has only one seat so obviously Rania pretends to be “with Maheer”. In the bus, she takes the seat while Maheer keeps standing with his injured foot.

The daku attacks

Yep, the dacoits attack the bus. Everyone is made to

This might have seemed out of blue, but it made me smile. Why? Because it reminded me of my first book (or was it second?) A Journey To Remember. The heroine Asmara was travelling by train. The train passes through areas that are Naxaliates control and… Well, you have to read the book to find out more.

So, there’s that.

The heroic rescue

Rania has no control over her chatter, so she ends up challening one of the dacoits. The dacoit lunges at Rania. Maheer gets into action, takes the rifle from the dacoit and kicks the other two. Long story short, the dacoits are tied up and handed to the police.

The Cab Tussle

Rania and Maheer aren’t done. I mean, fate has more plans for them. They arrive at Lahore taxi stand but the cabs aren’t available because of a strike. There is only one cabbie who agrees to take Maheer home on double fare. You guessed it right, Rania gets into the cab, too. Now, they both instruct the driver to drive to their destinations until the driver is fed up.

Now, this “take left” and “take right” got me confused. They were headed to the same destination. Why did they give different directions? Maheer should know that the route Rania is taking will lead home. I think the makers did this to

  1. add to the comic value. If that’s the case, it didn’t work. It wasn’t funny in the least.
  2. or throw us off that they wouldn’t be living in the same house. If that’s the case, it didn’t work because we all have seen the teasers.
  3. or just the two characters going against each other. This makes more sense, but this wasn’t the feeling when I saw the scene. This is my own genius that has come up with this idea, hehe, so I will go with this.

The Shock

Rania arrives home and meets the family. Maheer comes home later. And then Maheer finds out that Rania is a distant relative and would live with them. How lovely! The real fun begins now.
