Telefilm Review | Teri Meri Kahani

So, last night I watched Ruposh, and YouTube instantly knew that I should be interested in watching another Haroon Kadwani telefilm.

And I did.

Let me just say that it didn’t even come close to Ruposh, which is strange because Teri Meri Kahani is written by Saima Akram Chaudhari who is master of rom-com. And it is directed by Aehsun Talish.

Okay, so let’s get to this unconditional unstructured review.

Armaan is a generally careless but sorted kinda guy. He can’t focus on studies and his parents, especially his father keep nagging him.

Zara is just a mean manipulative girl who takes advantage of her being orphan (mom has passed away). She even pays her friend Wafa to make her assignments just to show Armaan down. There is only one time he geniusly outsmarts her, she revenges by accusing him of harassing girls. Ouch!

Then she comes to live with them for a few days. From making her to teach him to making haleem which she claims to be an expert of. They do fall in love, but Zara’s lies makes their happy love life bitter.

There are some witty one-liners and some smart revenge ideas from Armaan that shows Saima Akram’s genius but I just couldn’t tolerate the heroine.

I was so unhappy with this couple. The heroine is so bleh, and Armaan is just so real. I wasn’t happy, but then it’s not my story to tell.

Haroon is a decent actor. I mean, this telefilm is older than Ruposh, and i can see that he has improved as an actor.  Bas thodi mehnat aur mere bachhe, and you will be one of those people who sizzle the screen.

So long!

  1. Humayun Ashraf is quite dashing. I’ve seen him since Ishq Hamari Galiyon Mein… He also has great comic timing, if you watch his telefilms… Kisi ke to jaise lagta hai, but I can’t put a finger on it.

  2. Yeah, and I read the whole plot on wiki, so it kinda ruined things for me 😀

Let’s see if I get bored halfway… if I do I’ll just watch all in x2 or skip the not impt once

  5. Wow… You decided to watch 93 episodes? I can’t even finish 20 something of raqs e bismil that i started a while back 🙂

ahhhh the heroine… sehar khan if i’m not wrong. yeah i agree with you she is blegh in her acting.. right now i’m watching rang mahal so far so good.. pace is slow but the heroine oof.. she’s so effing annoying and quite bit of over acting. i must say, she has the acting chops (in this serial) but she needs a control of her dialogue delivery. otherwise, she is ok. rang mahal is like 93 eps but it was like such a rave when it aired so i wanted to see what the hype was about..

also i found a new tv crush; humayun ashraf. dude is quite hot
