Jannat Se Aagay | Episode 7

Jannat Se Aagay

“Jannat Se Aagay” explores the themes of identity, personal aspirations, and the potential consequences of idolizing others. The story follows the journey of Jannat and Tabassum as they navigate their dreams, relationships, and the inherent challenges of discovering their true selves.

Tabassum is a beautiful and compassionate young girl. She selflessly takes care of everyone in her family and even supports them financially by giving tuition to children from her neighbourhood. While she leads a simple life, there is one thing that brings her immense joy and inspiration: watching Jannat’s morning show on television.

Jannat Ali Khan is the host of the morning show that Tabassum adores. She considers Jannat her idol and attempts to emulate her style and mannerisms. On the other hand, Jannat who influences the lives of thousand of such girls with a façade of grandeur is empty on the inside.

Will Jannat be able to fill her inner void? Will Tabassum’s dream to become someone else cause her to lose her own identity? Will Tabassum discover the importance of being true to oneself, or will she get lost in becoming an idealized version of someone else?

Jannat Se Aagay Episode 7 Written Update and Review

Hey there, drama enthusiasts! Shabana Mukhtar here, all set to break down the latest episode of “Jannat Se Aagay,” where the whirl of emotions and conflicts keeps us on our toes.

Housewarming Party of Jannat Jahan

We already know that Jannat Ali Khan is planning to move to her new house. She has now shifted to her new house and the whole event is telecast. Noman and the kids are forced to be present and keep a facade of smiling faces and the charade of being “one sweet happy family”.

Noman’s Plans

Whether Jannat is nice to him or not, Noman has made up his mind. He proposes to Zara.

I guess Zara was just as shocked as we were. But she does say yes. Later, the two enjoy some alone time.

And I can’t that I like it, even though it was shot beautifully. Just how rich is Zara? Her abode is fabulous.

I am not kidding. Her house is kinda like my ideal house. If you want to learn more about my daydreams, read here: A Glimpse into the Future: My Practical City Design

I will be honest. I get it that Jannat isn’t the best wife or the best mother, but Noman is kinda extreme. If you want to marry someone else, do so. Don’t put the blame on your wife, you know.

Tabassum’s Blackmail

Tabassum wants to work as a nanny for Jannat Ali Khan’s kids. Her family and even Farooq don’t approve of this. To convince her family, Tabassum goes on a hunger strike.

Later, when Farooq comes to see her (because he is so stupidly in love), Tabassum kinda forces Farooq to do the convincing. And he does.

Long story short, now Tabassum will work for Jannat. We all knew it. I mean, hello, the poster, have you seen it?

What struck me the most was how both Tabassum and Farooq addressed each other as “tu”. Has it always been this way? Why do I feel that they were on “tum” and suddenly moved to “tu”?

In awe

In awe! That’s how Tabassum and Farooq feel when they enter Jannat Jahan, Jannat Ali Khan’s new house. Its like Taj Mahal, really.

Jannat might be toxic at times but she’s nice to Farooq and Tabassum, both. Jannat even offers Farooq to help find a job. If only things were so easy IRL.

Review

This episode was so fast paced. I almost felt like it was shorter than usual. So far, I’m loving this drama. But I think the audience isn’t liking it much. The views aren’t that great. When it was a commercial project like Tere Bin, people were going crazy but a drama like Jannat Se Aagay doesn’t get the same amount of love and appreciation. That’s so sad.

Until next time, happy drama watching, my friends!
