Tere Bin | Episode 56

Introduction

Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.

Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.

On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.

Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.

Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 56 Written Update and Review

Assalam Alaikum dear readers,

Shabana Mukhtar here, to recap and review the latest episode of Tere Bin.

Excerpts from Episode 54 Review

This time, since I was so mighty miffed with the storyline, I watched the promo of episode 55. It shows that Murtasim would want to marry Haya, Meerub’s son is all grown up (no really, but the toddler they showed was like 8 months’ old). I can’t, I can’t take this anymore.

Ever since the Anas and Maryan track started, this drama has been spiralling down. And now, it has plonked to the ground and smashed into pieces.

I’m done with this. You wouldn’t find my reviews on Tere Bin henceforth.

But then…

Someone asked me for a review, and I couldn’t say no. I’m such a softie at heart, you see.

So, let’s get to episode 56 of Tere Bin.

Murtasim’s Ishq Wala Love

I say this because yesterday I watched a hilarious video that makes fun of this song from Student of The Year.

Apparently, now Murtasim is in ishq with Meerub. This comes from the ever-so-loyal Bakhtoo who can’t bear to see his “maalik” in pained state.

A Word About Haya

Also, apparently Haya wanted to marry Murtasim only because of a diamond studded ring. Seriously? Seriously? She went to all the trouble, came up with such evil plans

  1. jadoo tona
  2. trying to hurt Meerub – that thing near the strairs
  3. coming near Murtasim a MILLION times–in gaon, in haveli, everywhere

ALL OF THAT was for a diamond ring? What was her love-boasts about?

I don’t think it’s a problem with Haya; she had been the problematic character since the beginning. I think that in an attempt to drag the drama, the makers have now become inconsistent in what they show. Kal tak mohabbat thhi, aaj diamond ring sab kuch ho gayi.

Anywho…

Murtasim’s Longing For Meerub

Haya asks Salma Begum for the jewellery that was gifted to Meerub but Murtasim is like: no can’t do. Obviously, this doesn’t sit well with Haya. She’s like, Murtasim, teri dusri shaadi hai, lekin meri to pehli hai… rang mein bhang mat daal…

Not literally, but you get the drift.

Haya: Mere bhi kuch armaan hain

Murtasim: Shadi saadgi se hogi, ya phir nahin hogi.

Saba: The Loyal Friend

Saba is back. She comes to see Murtasim. But wait, how could she when there is Haya in the scene. Haya kept interrupting Saba and Murtasim’s conversation. I wondered why Murtasim didn’t ask her to shut the beep up, you know. Haya was doing more talking than Saba and Murtasim combined.

Haya alleges many shitty things and finally says:

Haya: Meerub ran away with Rohail

Saba is there to clear some misunderstandings, right?Surprise, surprise. Rohail is in Dubai with his sister

And Murtasim is like: O teri!

Pehle nahin samjha thha? Awayin Rohail Rohail kar raha thha. I have ranted about this enough, so won’t waste your (and my) time about this. Murtasim was his stupidest self when he started saying: Meerub Rohail ke saath bhagi hai.

Now he’s like:

Murtasim: yeh maine kya kar diya.

Shayar ne isi mauqe ke liye kaha hai:

Ab pachhtawe kya hoat

Jab chidiyan chuug gayin kheyt

Meerub’s New Life

We see Meerub sitting and chopping veggies, and that scene was so real. She was eating while she cut the veggies, so freaking relatable.

Meesam gets hurt and Meerub rushes to the hospital, sans her purse or anything, because that’s her speciality; we have established that by now.

Meerub is stupid and all, but she is also extremely lucky. While she’s wandering on the streets trying to get conveyance, she runs into Saba, the sweetest side character we have ever seen. At the hospital, Saba settles the bill.

Meerub has got some good friends. There was that friend who sent money and clothes to her at the shady lodge (the money that she left there while escaping), and now Saba. Who needs common sense when you’ve got luck in abundance?

So, that was my take on the latest episode of Tere Bin.

So long!
