Aasmanon Pe Likha

Aasmanon Pay Likha (Urdu: آسمانوں پہ لکھا) (meaning Written on the Skies) is a 2013 TV show that aired on Geo Entertainment television. It stars Sajal Ali and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles.

Qudsia (Sajal Ali) is a middle-class girl who dreams of a simple married life. Unfortunately, her in-laws demand a hefty sum of dowry. Qudsia’s family were not able to pay the dowry. Her father eventually has a heart attack after getting insulted. Aaliyan (Sheheryar Munawar), who has come to attend his employee’s daughter’s wedding, ends up marrying Qudsia.

Why This Drama?

Every once in a while, I crave a drama that has been aired, so I can binge on 2X speed. This has been coming up in the recommendation lately as I am watching Jannat Se Aagay and Mannat Murad. You know, when you watch a channel, other videos from that channel are next in line.

So, after watching the same recommendation for a few days, I decided to give it a go. I have watched 8 episodes as I draft this. Hopefully, I will be done with this drama in 2-3 days. However, I will pace the reviews one episode per day. I don’t want to spend too much time on this, you kow.
